Why Christmas is celebrated
The Christmas story comes from the Bible. It tells how the three wise men and the shepherds followed the Star of Bethlehem to the stable where Jesus as born. The custom of exchanging gifts began in memory of the gifts that the shepherds and the wise men brought to the Christ child.
